Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmas is right around the corner!!

Are you needing some ideas for that "special someone"? Come to the Runner's Den and let us help you finish off your shopping list with our new Winter Arrivals!

We have an abundance of reflective Wind Stopper jackets, toques, and gloves for men and women and warm thermal layers for the winter running season.

Everyone who enjoys the snowy outdoors needs a Craft Base Layer to keep them warm and dry, whether you are walking the dog, cross-country skiing, or shovelling the driveway!!

We have gift ideas for those "out-of-season" sports as well. Do you have someone who is getting into Triathlon? How about helping them organize their race-day with a Zoot Tri-Bag to carry all their gear in?

We carry Sugoi Cycling Booties and gloves for the early Spring and late Fall cyclists.

Still feel the bug to bike this winter? At the Runner's Den you'll find Cycle Ops Indoor Bike Trainers to help you maintain and improve cycling levels all year long! No need to wait for Spring to get out and bike! Pick up an indoor cycling DVD and spin all around the world in the comfort of your own home!

Come check out the latest Garmin 405CX heart rate monitor and GPS!!

You may have a long distance runner or walker who is tired of carrying a water bottle -- may we suggest a Fuel Belt that carries up to four 8 oz. or 10 oz. bottles and has a handy zip-pocket for keys, identification or whatever your needs are.

The swimmers on your shopping list would love our new funky Speedo swim caps, goggles, and nose-plugs to match!! Choose from a variety of Speedo and Tyr swim bags as well.

If you have someone on your list who enjoys Yoga, Pilates, or indoor fitness during the winter months we carry a variety of yoga-gear, cute work-out tops and bottoms to match.

Come see the latest Asics Lifestyle Collection in men's, women's, and unisex casual footwear. The colours are unique and funky and each shoe comes with 2 sets of laces in different colours so you can personalize your own look!

If you are looking for Stocking Stuffer ideas for under $50, come check out our:
  • clip-on Adventure Lights to make sure your loved ones are safely visible when outdoors in the evenings
  • Sabre dog-spray in 3 different volumes and one for the ladies to carry in a pink canister

Complete the training program every Sunday morning with us and finish your half or full marathon in your goal time May 23rd, 2010!

  1. What about the Body Bottle instead of the Fuelbelt? It is a water bottle that straps to your bicep for comfortable hydraton. And runners get a 20% discount at bodybottle.com

  2. The body bottle is probably a great alternative in warmer weather conditions. However with the current Alberta winter weather, bottles need to be worn under clothing to avoid freezing, while still remaining easily accessible. Fuelbelts are easily worn under a jacket.
